This foundation webinar is for lawyers who have to prepare their clients for the mediation process. You will receive information on the process of mediation, how to prepare the opening statement and understand the contents of the agreement to mediate. You will also receive information on the skills needed to equip yourself and your client in preparation for the negotiation within the mediation. Relevant case law and regulations including the lawyer’s duties in terms of Rule 41A will be discussed.
